Some couples opt to have an adult-only reception, and some choose to believe that nobody’s too young to party! Either way, we know your reception will be full of fun. Here’s some tips, activities, and printable’s to keep the little ones (and you) happy!
1. Designate a Kid-Keeper
Brides, talk with your wedding planner and see if there’s a close friend, family member, or experienced nanny who could be the point person for the children in the wedding party (if their own parents have other wedding-related responsibilities). This could include making sure that the flower girl has her petals, the ring bearer isn’t refusing his duties, snacks are in arm’s reach, and that the children’s table is where they’re planted when the time comes.

2. Provide a Space for Nursing Mom’s
Ask your wedding venue if there’s a quiet space that a nursing mother could retreat to, besides for the restroom. Your guests will appreciate the thoughtfulness.

3. Cocktail Hour = Game Time.
Keep the kids and the kids-at-heart entertained at summer weddings with fun yard games like Ring Toss, Jumbo Tic-Tac-Toe, Jenga, and Cornhole. Easy to personalize with your wedding colors or monogram!
With disposable cameras and a creative list, this puts the kids on a mission. Pass them out during cocktail hour. You can print out the list we’ve created here!

5. Activity Book
Have your greeters pass them out as guests arrive, or have these cute workbooks waiting on them at the reception. Feel free to make your own, or download the one we love from this awesome blog here:
